Scott / Alan F. / Bob -- musings

Scott Eliot
Looking forward to seeing everyone. Interested to see what everyone has done with their lives. In particular I am looking for classmates with skills in middle teen adolescent parenting, beginner electric guitar playing, book authorship after 50, spring lawn overseeding, alternative energy and any ideas on changing a culture of ad hominium confrontational legislative law-making.

Please share a new skill you have picked up in the last couple of years. Mine in guitar (my teacher is John Curtis lead guitarist from The Pousette-Dart Band - remember them?). Oh, and another is "thinking before I speak"...but that's not going as well as guitar.

And any good books?

  • Rian Smith and Heidi Winslow like this.
  • Alan Fleisig — I'm studying to become a high school English teacher, which is a somewhat radical departure and entirely new. Adolescent habits that have seen a rebirth include avid road cycling and the violin.
  • Scott Eliot — That's really impressive. I'm intrigued by second starts these days. A friend of mine in Colo gave up a 6 figure high tech job to teach high school students in technology. BTW enjoyed some of the pictures out of the Fleisig archive. I'm the same way. I have all my old b&w negatives in folder file book. Even some old Newport silkscreens that I learned to do with Norrie Hoyt.

What a response from the Class of 1976 - wow...... I am coming too and look forward to seeing everyone!
