...I invite anyone finding themselves up in the Adirondacks – in the Saranac Lake/Lake Placid region - to look me up – I’m not difficult to track down (small towns…). And thanks again for your efforts on stirring up support & participation.

I’ve been watching as it looks like you’re working up to a pretty good showing by SG‘76ers.

Sad to say, the past couple of weeks up here have been occupied by unprecedented flooding (we’re paying now for our fantastic snow winter, melted fast by torrential April rains). Alas, I found that my business lies in part of the local flood plain, that hasn’t seen a flood in over a century.

Anyway, long story short, while classmates reminisce about the days of Nixon, Leisure suits, and our favorite vinyl LPs, now that the water’s receding, I anticipate spending some quality time with a dumpster, transferring sodden inventory, supplies, and old paperwork; then I’ll re-arrange the cellar for storage way, way above the waterline.

(I believe the Adirondacks & Champlain valley got this year what RI got a year or two ago).

Such are the joys of the small-business proprietor.

Have plenty of fun at reunion, and best wishes for life in general.
