POST Class-of-1976-35th-Reunion POSTS
John Zannini — So my second try, the first was way too long, past the 1,000 character limit.
Who knew. Short version goes like this. We came to the Hilltop and immediately bonded again. We laughed a lot. Had a great time re-connecting with each other. Felt our names on the King Hall wall. Climbed to the top of the Chapel Tower. Missed Tony Z. at Sunday Chapel, except for Bar and Carol. Adios lunch at the Black Pearl. Can't wait to do it again. Now if each one of us each brings one other to the next one.......Thanks Marian. Good effort to Bob and Jody and especially Carol. Heidi and the girls I think will be writing the "Stay fit and look good" lifestyle book with lots of laughs, and repeat.
Heidi Winslow — My turn now; I feel as though I could just say "dito" which would be so true to what I feel but not anyway near as heartfelt or sincere as writing something myself to all of you. I was looking forward to this weekend but definitely with some apprehension. Having only been at S.G's for my senior year I don't have anywhere near the history you guys do with each other. I wanted to go because I remember our class being made up of so many great, interesting people and I was curious to meet up with everyone again after all of these years. I was so happy to see how quickly and comfortably we all fell back into a comfortable rhythm together, sharing stories...laughing. It felt like coming home and being with your siblings for a holiday!
I loved hearing about different people's passions, talents, hobbies, careers, families... It was also great getting to know each other again and sharing thoughts about where we're going in life, what we've been through and how it's all helped make us who we are!
Thank you to everyone who was there for making the effort to be there. Thank you Marian for all that you did to organize & rally us together!
Lisa Lovering — Ok so now it's my turn. A truly memorable weekend which FAR exceeded my expectations. Basically what I came away with was a feeling of being so incredibly lucky to have all these wonderful, warm, fun, FUNNY, smart and kind individuals as friends again - all of whom just happened to be members of SG's class of '76! I too was nervous/apprehensive driving up (just ask VB) but the most amazing thing was that within minutes it was as if no time had passed - and it been 30 years for most of us! Huge kudos to Marian for getting us there! We are a lucky bunch and we need to stay connected!
Vicky Bippart — Well, I had a very nice time with the grown up versions of my teenage friends. Everyone of you exceeded my expectations. Like Carol, I also fretted because I was a little nervous. THANKFULLY Jody Martin called me in advance and I was able to dispense with some of it. And THANKFULLY I met up with John Buell before hand for a glass of wine. But what the hell - seeing each of you turned out to be a little piece of heaven.
Vicky Bippart — Heidi went to UVM! But Mr. Schenck (sp?) told her to go to Hartwick. He used to threaten me with Kirkland. It made me turn beat red and then the "Pillar of Ignorance" would follow.
Wickliffe Kelley — Hey Schenck made me go to LSU, no bonging there, LOL

Lisa Lovering — I love this.
Carol Johnson — Hi All. To those of you who were at SGS this past weekend....I really had a wonderful time. It brought back so many great memories; I definitely want to keep in touch and get together when occasions arise! To those of you who couldn't make it back, I hope we get together someday sooner than later. It was with considerable trepidation that I ventured east to SGS this weekend...maybe others had similar fears? But everyone was so open and welcoming that the weekend far surpassed my expectations and was truly great. Thank you, Marian, for being our catalyst and rallying so many. I hope to see you all before 35 more years!

Howard Hersey — Cath — Remember, we annointed you class social liaison to organize the next planned excursion to the Zannini residence in Vero Beach!
Catherine A. Lambert — What a memory for all of us!! Pictures will be coming!! Thank you again Marian !! And yes we will keep the momentum going!!! Luv ya all!!!
Howard Hersey — I want to echo Paula's comments. It was great to see all of you that travelled for so long, and from so far, to join us. And Marian, you did a totally amazing job pulling this together, rallying us all, and reconnecting us for our best class showing in years, if not decades... Let's keep the momentum going!

Paula Marks — Thank you to our classmates that made the trip! It was great to see everyone and catch up on our lives. I believe that our class photo will prove that we were the "fun form". A huge thanks to Marian for organizing and recruiting numbers...I hope someone will post photos.
